I saw a pilated woodpecker tonight. Well I heard it first. Unfortunately it flew away before I could get a picture.

I finally got a picture good enough to get a positive ID on Merlin of a pileated woodpecker I've been "talking" to since we moved here! I call him Later.

Male Kestrel from the Raptor Photo day. He maybe captive but I've seen this species several times in the wild locally but unfortunately they are always perched on wires as we're driving too fast to stop for a pic.

Had another vistor today. Unfortunately she move too quickly for me to get a good picture. I'm pretty she's the same raccoon I see most of the time. There are alot around. But she has a walk and a couple physical features that makes me believe she the same one. Here's are a couple pictures.
