Egg binding oil?

I have a conure that is displaying breeding behavior and need some oil to put on top of her food to help the egg through. I live very rural and have limited supplies. I need wheat germ oil but only have extra virgin olive oil. That’s all I have. Would a couple drops on her seed be safe to use? I’m too far from any store at present.

Why would your bird need any type of oil? As long as shes on a healthy diet all should go well. I have a chronic egglayer. Shes been known to lay 20+ eggs in a row. Never have given her any oil of any kind. Calcium is what you should be concentrating on.
