My 4-5 month old budgie Skye won't eat or drink anything.
I noticed it about two days ago.
I have given him chop and he won't eat more than a few bites I tried pellets as well. I got desperate and even gave him a bowl of seed and he only ate a couple seeds! I have not seen him drinking either.
Of course not every bird lets you watch them drink.
What is wrong????

Is he pooping? Are those poops normal?

Some birds may not eat or drink when being watched, but the poops can't be hidden and we can see how often they poop and whether they are hungry or dehydrated.

He is, it is just more watery than normal.
I can see that he is not eating the seed by the hulls in the bowl.
When he eats chop I can see that is has had a beak in it.

Will he take millet spray? Or anything out of your hand?
I would definitely book a check up at the vet to have him looked at.

He will eat some millet spray. But he is not his normal crazy self over it.

Uh, I switched cages with him and my other budgie and he stated eating.
Maybe he was stressed out cause he wanted the other cage?!

Is he a single bird? Sometimes a budgie starts eating when watching other budgies eat. If he is a single budgie also try playing budgie sounds from YouTube and get him excited.

He isn't a single budgie.
He lives in a cage by himself but his friend lives in a cage a few inches away from him.
But I think he is eating again!
